My Instant Pot arrived!

So exciting! I just received my Instant Pot at my door last night. I purchased it at a really good deal on the Amazon Prime Day sale this week. The one on sale was 8 quart capacity, a bit larger than the standard 6 quart one I was originally looking at, but I guess more capacity can't be that bad, right? Potential for more food? ☺

Upon unboxing, the first bits of doubt arose quickly. The pot is SO Heavy! 😯

The next worry arose when I took it out. The pot is Humongous! 😲 It's going to take up so much counter space! This was really unexpected.

And then a deep sigh... A steep learning curve follows! I spent the rest of the night reading the instructions manual and looking online for more information about how to use this pot. I have never used a pressure cooker before, so this is all new to me. 😳

Adventure awaits! I'm looking forward to seeing what all the hype about this pot is about, but I'm starting to feel a bit skeptical and apprehensive about this purchase right now. 😞
